VAT – In the event no trade deal with the EU is agreed, the HMRC has issued a statement on how this may affect your business.

The statement can be found in the Government publication VAT for business if there is no brexit deal it is a short guide for businesses that expect to trade with customers in the EU after 29 March 2019. It also sets out the position regarding the VAT as well as import and export procedures.

If you currently export or import vehicles within the EU and plan to do so after the deadline, it would be worth reading the above and making any changes required.
