Electric vehicles in the UK could soon be set to display green number plates.

The aim is to show car parking companies, local authorities etc that these are ‘green’ vehicles so that the owners can benefit from incentives such as cheaper parking and driving in bus lanes for example.

Hopefully, as a result of these notable incentives it will boost electric car sales and help the Government to meet their net zero emission target by 2050.

Zero emission car sales are on the rise and with cost and time saving incentives such as this we can only imagine it will help to boost sales even further!

Another reason to buy an electric vehicle is of course, from an unselfish point of view, to help the environment- So get green!
