From 1st October 2009 there are several changes to the Companies Act 2006.  One of these is the requirement for a Director to have both a service address (for service of documents) and a residential address.

On 1st October 2009 unless advised otherwise, the residential address will be the Director’s service address.  However, a Director can change the service address to another place eg the Registered Office.  This will be able to be carried out on the Companies House website.  The residential address will only be made available to public authorities and credit reference agencies.
