The delivery driver was ‘intercepted’ by the fraudster and used the excuse it was too late for it to be delivered to the card address and chose a more ‘convenient’ location.

We have had another client suffer at the hands of a fraudster who used a stolen credit card to arrange the purchase of a car over the telephone.

All details checked out in terms of the delivery address punched into the card machine.

However, despite clear instructions to the delivery company by our client the driver was ‘intercepted’ by the fraudster and used the excuse it was too late for it to be delivered to the card address and chose a more ‘convenient’ location.

It looks as though there may be a case to be had in this one against the delivery company.
