Plans are still progressing for the new online court system which the Ministry of Justice hope to be up and running by 2020.

The court will deal with cases up to £25,000 on much the same principles as the small claims court does now (currently for cases up to £10,000 in value).

The plan is to make it straightforward and user friendly with a massive reduction in the number of Civil Procedure Rules which need to be followed.

There is clearly still much to do and for now, its business as usual for the 200+ live cases for which we are currently providing support and advice to our members.
