A Nottinghamshire van dealer Maxwell Alvey has been prosecuted (reported in TS Today) for clocking mileometer readings on 55 vans bought at auction. 

He was ordered to repay £205,000 to the victims.  It was ordered that if the money is not paid over by 30 April 2013 he will be sent to prison for a further 30 months.
