Ridiculous as it seems, it has been alleged that a car was defective in that whenever it was parked outside the owner’s home its alarm was seemingly being set off at random times. It was then established that it only did so whenever the user operated his microwave!
It transpired that the microwave did not comply with the Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2006. The car was fine.
