It’s only been one month since the set up of Lawgistics Litigation for the Motor Trade CIC, and already several cases have been transferred over from members who have either received or issued a court claim.

As conducting litigation can only be actioned by properly authorised people and entities, we are pleased to offer this service and provide the automotive community with subsidised legal support.

For our members, the best part of our new setup is that we can now be “on record” with the court, meaning we can take over management of the case and communicate directly with the court. So, our members can leave the legal worries to us and can focus on their core business of selling vehicles, running their service and repair garages, and/or MOT testing centres.

With over 20 years experience of supporting the motor trade, our trade association members are in safe and capable hands.

In addition to benefitting our members, for every court claim dealt with, we donate £10 to Ben, the motor trade charity which provides assistance when our wider automotive family members are struggling. As we are very much about resolution and keeping our members out of court, we do not expect to take on hundreds of court cases each year, but in those instances when it cannot be avoided, we will look after our members and make that donation.

Our May 2023 total for Ben was £170, and we are proud to continue with this initiative of helping people in the motor trade who need it the most.
