2024 saw us continue to support our motor trade community in standing up to consumers with unrealistic expectations and those who act in bad faith.
We began the year with a victory of our own. A rival firm reported us to my regulator, accusing us of acting outside the law—essentially a move that could have led to my being struck off and potentially imprisoned for breaching the Legal Services Act 2007. However, they were proven wrong, and our interpretation of the law regarding the management of court cases was upheld by the highest authority.
We knew we were right because everything we do here is rooted in integrity, sincerity, and tenacity. I care deeply about my profession and have a profound love for our community.
One year on, we have supported our community through an additional 400 court cases, resulting in collective wins exceeding £1.2 million. As promised, we have also made a £10 donation to Ben for every court case we have taken on. Since the launch of our Community Interest Company in 2023, we have raised over £7,000 through this initiative.
Our legal team has expanded and continues to grow, both in numbers and intellectual capital. I firmly believe there is no one better equipped than our specialist legal team to support the motor trade when a court claim arises.
We collectively love what we do, and that passion contributes to our success. The fact that we deliver these results at a fraction of the cost of a high-street solicitor is truly remarkable.
We are all looking forward to achieving even more victories for our community in 2025 and continuing to support the motor trade—one case at a time.
Bring it on!
