It has been announced this week that from 1 October 2015, smoking in vehicles will be banned if you have a person under the age of 18 in the vehicle with you.

If you are caught after this date it will be an on the spot fine of £50.00.

Note that this won’t apply to people driving by themselves, or in an open top vehicle (obviously this won’t apply if the roof is not down!)
