It’s that time of year again, all over the UK people associated with the Motor Trade are turning a variety of automobiles that have seen better days, into an eclectic mix of weird and wonderful charity chariots for Bangers for BEN.

Costumes will be hanging in wardrobes ready for departure. Wigs will be dusted off. Songs will be chosen for the in-car lip sync videos and practical jokes are being planned.

BEN the Automotive charity and CarDealer magazine’s annual car rally into Europe raises ten’s of thousands of pounds to help support people in the motor trade and their families when they need assistance. This year is the rally’s 10th anniversary, it promises to be something extra special as 50 ‘bangers’ and their crews travel through the European countryside (observing national speed limits) on a mission to reach Stuttgart, undertaking a series of challenges along the way.

The mission is simple. Buy car for under £750, modify and decorate it. Raise money through sponsorship. Drive to Stuttgart and back. Auction your charity chariot with the sale money going to BEN. We need your help with the middle bit, sponsorship. As it is the tenth anniversary, we at team Lawgistics would really like to smash it as far as sponsorship goes. Anything you can give will be gratefully received and will help BEN continue to do the work they do within our industry.

The Judge and LawJaw have had their orders from the Little Boss and she’s expecting more from Team Lawgistics this year. As you can see from the video she is unimpressed with our previous efforts, but this year…The lads have nailed it, the car and the costumes are bought. The Lawgistics chariot is off being made ready, mechanical work and the custom paintjob will ensure that heads will turn whenever the team pass by.

Please watch our video and if they make you chuckle please take the time to donate either here or by text below. A little will go a long way.
