In a recent case (Hunter v Timber Components (UK) Ltd a Director of the employer was intimidating and arrogant towards employees in general.

The Director and the Claimant were involved in an altercation but in this particular case it was held that there weren’t grounds for constructive dismissal.  However the tribunal did establish that a situation could arise where the action by the employer could amount to sufficient grounds to undermine mutual trust and confidence for any particular employee albeit not involved in particular incidents of, say, harassment
