Trading Standards is a local authority service with online consumer advice about problems with motor vehicles.
 
Citizens Advice

The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.
 
Retail Motor Industry Federation

If the supplying dealer / garage is an RMI member you can refer the matter to the RMI conciliation and arbitration service.
